Goochland Lions Club White Cane Day

The Goochland County Lions Club is preparing for their annual White Cane Day to help spread awareness of the White Cane, which signifies that a person using a white cane is blind or visually impaired and alerts drivers to give white cane users the right of way.  Sight preservation is a major goal for the Lions Club.  On Saturday, April 21, club members will be taking donations to help support sight related endeavors in our community.  Look for Lions members at the two Food Lion locations in Goochland and “Help Us Help the Blind”.  We will also be collecting used eyeglasses for recycling to those in need.
